Scolmore have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Coordinator to join our dynamic in-house team responsible for delivering Marketing, Communications, and Design services across the group of companies. The Marketing Coordinator will assist the Marketing Department with traditional & digital marketing activities, ensuring a smooth running of all projects.
Main Duties
• Ensure content is kept up to date (Reviewing website pages, SharePoint uploads, Marketing hub uploads etc.)
• Assist with the preparation and on the day implementation of product launch uploads using the project management system, with support from wider team, where necessary.
• Support with the day-to-day marketing stock reports, ensuring items are replenished regularly with support from wider team where necessary.
• Assist with the coordination of the banner inventory for the sales teams via our project management system;
o Ensure banners are up-to date with latest artwork
o Liaise with Graphic designers, when necessary, when new artwork is required
o Order banners direct with supplier as & when needed ensuring PO is provided
o Ensure banners are available for ASMs to collect during their induction
o Liaise with facilities management team to ensure the return of banners when an
ASM leaves & these go back into stock
• Order for all new ASMs/RSMs clothing as decided by the Marketing Manager /Group
Marketing Manager and replace for existing staff, when necessary
• Assist with planning and implementing marketing campaigns – help developing online and
offline marketing campaigns that will suit both B2B and B2C audiences.

• Act as a brand guardian ensuring all internal and external materials are consistent in tone of
voice, messaging and visual identity
• Working closely with the PR team on proofing and distributing of communications and internal briefing materials.

▪ Assist PR Manager and Media Relations Executive with fulfilment of media
relations tasks including but limited to: journalist liaison, ‘In the Press’
website uploads and press coverage data collation as well as additional
admin where necessary.
• Assist with planning and communicating advertising schedules, coordinating with the design team to ensure artwork is executed in a timely manner and arrange additional marketing bookings, as necessary
• Assist with monitoring the marketing & social inbox
• Coordinate project information via project management system for bookings such as advertising schedules and any additional projects, as required, ensuring budgets are up to date at all times
• Assist where necessary with event co-ordination.
• Assist in researching & coming up with topic ideas for
o YouTube
o Podcast
o Social Media
o any additional channels where necessary
• Co-ordinating and booking slots for our active YouTube Channel – SGTV along with our Podcast
• Support the digital marketing team with social media scheduling and online engagement when necessary
• Assist with merchandise orders across the group where necessary
• Assist marketing department with the gathering of market and competitor analysis
• Produce monthly reports with a constructive approach, highlighting details around your own monthly activity identifying strengths, weaknesses opportunities and threats to support the departments achievements moving forward.
• Undertake other tasks as reasonably directed from time to time to ensure the smooth running of the business
Essential Skills and Experience
• The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years working in a
marketing coordinator role
• Proven experience across online and offline marketing, including but not
limited to, event admin support, stock control, social media platforms –
Facebook, X, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube & Podcasts
• A diverse understanding of marketing to multiple audiences, in particular
B2B & B2C
• Well organised, reliable and hardworking individual, able to work
independently and as part of a team
• Confident and able to form relationships with stakeholders both internally &
externally and able to demonstrate strong verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail with a creative mindset to assist with idea
generation
• A self-motivated proactive individual with strong attention to detail and an
analytical approach
• Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
Desirable Skills and Experience
• Experience in using a project management system like Monday.com
• Marketing degree or CIM qualification
